DEEP-STANCE
An awkward defensive stance that can become habitual. Most will get turn-off with boring judokas whose matches are dull and uninteresting. One would even think that the judoka (adopting deep-stance throughout the match) does not and has not the capability to do any judo throws.
Once there was a world meet and a 'new' (because he was away from the country for sometime)judoka was to represent the country, there was so much publicity on him from the press. Naturally I was eager to see him in action. It turn out that he knows nothing else but dreary deep-stance!
